🌿 Where does it live?
Beavers need water, food, and sheltered banks. They build their lodges and dams in places where the water is safe and suitable.
🐾 How it lives
Beavers are excellent swimmers and use their strong incisors to gnaw on trees for food and building materials. Their activities can create complete small wetlands.

The beaver is an ecosystem engineer: by retaining water, new ponds, wet grasslands, and shelters for other animals are created.
